Medical Portals Limited does NOT: · Provide or release names or e-mail addresses of members to any third party provided that Medical Portals Limited may from time to time inform the members of its intended association with 3rd party network associates and may provide or release such names or e-mail addresses unless directed otherwise within a given period of time. · Use cookies or any other technology to track or report on member activity when they are not on Medical Portals Limited’s web sites nor pass member data to other Web sites.
Medical Portals Limited uses member data to: · Direct editorial content to members who are most likely to be interested in information about specific subject matter; · Determine the advertisements to be seen by the member while using Medical Portals Limited’s web sites; · Measure site activity: Cookie technology also helps Medical Portals Limited determine which features and services are important to which audiences so that Medical Portals Limited may know where to invest ongoing development and creative efforts; · N.B. SITE PROMOTION
· Membership in Medical Portals Limited’s web sites is free to eligible members. Funding of the sites is provided entirely by advertising, sponsorship and the Corporate Membership of commercial organisations who benefit from providing their services on the network. The number of members, site activity, country of origin, profession and age of members are all important parameters, which are taken into consideration by potential Corporate Members. This is information, which does not personally identify you, but may be helpful for marketing purposes or for improving the services Medical Portals Limited offers. Generally, this information is collected through "traffic data" and may entail the use of "Cookies", “IP addresses" or other numeric codes used to identify a computer. · Medical Portals Limited uses this data to promote the site provided this is not in conflict with other obligations listed in this policy.

MARKET RESEARCH
· Medical Portals Limited may write or call in the process of performing market research about its services. Any research on behalf of a third party will be clearly identified as such. · At the member's request, Medical Portals Limited may provide communications and services between a third party and the member of Medical Portals Limited’s web sites. For example, Maltese physicians may wish to request drug samples from a manufacturer or may want to submit orders for service electronically from Corporate Members. This would require that the members release their names and addresses to the manufacturers or suppliers. In all such instances the information to be released to the third party will be explicitly noted to the member. · It may be necessary, if required by law or if pertinent to judicial or governmental investigations, to release your personally identifiable information. · Medical Portals Limited reserves the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. It will promptly reflect any such modifications in these pages.
If any provision or part thereof contained in this agreement shall be deemed illegal or unenforceable under any enactment or rule of law, such provision or part thereof shall not form part of this agreement but the remainder thereof shall continue in full force and effect.
· This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Malta and its Dependencies and any dispute which may arise shall be referred to Re Courts of the Republic of Malta and its Boundaries, which Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine the dispute.
